We like keeping ourselves up to date on different ideas for wedding designs.  While we were hopping around the internet, we came across Carly’s blog.  Carly is (very!) recently engaged to her fiance Chris, and she’s an amazing designer to boot!  She lets us into her life (and her workspace) on her blog, All this is Grace and Charm.grace and charm

We’re looking forward to keeping up with her blog as she plans her wedding.  She’s already got some awesome color boards that are truly an inspiration to anyone!  We’re excited to see what amazing ideas she comes up with for her venue.  And we’re even more excited to see what kind of dress she picks out!  Carly is beautiful on the inside and out, and we’re simply in love with her funky aesthetic.

Please go over and check out her awesome blog!  Whether you’re planning your own wedding or not, you’re sure to get some creative inspiration from Carly’s creations.

An Artful Wedding With Dog N’ Bird!

Mar 16, 2010

We recently came across the Dog N’ Bird blog, a wedding blog filled with really unique and creative wedding ideas. We’re always on the lookout for fun ways to help brides add a dash of personality into their wedding, so this blog is exactly what we were looking for! It’s authored by “Bird”, who is engaged and started her blog to inspire other brides!

We love her recent post, “Idea: Mismatched Bridesmaid Bouquets” – most bride-to-be’s wouldn’t give a second thought to the bridesmaid bouquets – they’re always the same, aren’t they? Well, they don’t have to be! Adding a simple twist to your wedding by having each bride carry a unique bouquet is such a fun touch to adding more personality to your wedding.

We hope you’ll take a look at the Dog N’ Bird blog, and we know you’ll gain some great ideas!

We Adore Adorned With Lace

Mar 10, 2010

We just found another blog to add to our list of favorite wedding blogs! Adorned With Lace is a wedding blog written by the lovely Ashley from Bosie, Idaho. She’s getting married in just about three months, and has a fun, quirky personality that we find so charming!

Ashley posts on creative wedding ideas that won’t break your wedding budget, and tips for real brides. Sure, there’s tons of wedding blogs out there that offer great inspiration, but sometimes those pieces are just a tad too expensive for most brides. We love Ashley’s ideas and vintage style, and we’ll definitely be reading more of her posts and hope you will too!

The right wedding flowers can transform your wedding into a breathtaking, beautiful event, but choosing coordinating wedding flowers can be a daunting task. After all, you want to be sure they both match and enhance your wedding theme, but we don’t all quite have that eye for floral fashion like Swank Stems, couture floral design and decor, does!

Nicole Iversion is the talented floral designer behind Swank Stems, and she combines her great talent for art and flower design to create extraordinary wedding floral arrangements. We love her great attention to detail and incorporating the couple’s personality into their wedding flowers! We hope you’ll take a look at her Gallery to see several of her impressive wedding floral creations, we were so “wowed” by them!
