I was watching TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” the other day, and thinking about whether I’d let someone else pick out my own wedding dress. You would think that your Maid of Honor and Mother of the Bride would know your style and have your best intentions in mind…but well, someone else’s wedding dress pick might not be my favorite, or even look that great on my body type. Plus, every girl has that image of the perfect wedding dress in their minds, and you know how great that feeling will be when you lay eyes on the dress that you’d love to walk down the aisle in. Simply no other dress will do. Just think about how many times you’re not that into a dress style, but it looks gorgeous on another bride – my heart just wouldn’t be into the dress.
